monkey cake

Its supposed to be a monkey my granddaughter is monkey mad so i bought a cake tin ages  ago
it is for her 9th birthday this week ,i tried to copy picture but was a bit hard
still better then nothing she will like, it i dont. i think it looks a bit of a mess.

Thank you card for Vee

This is the card that i made for Vee as a thank you for my stamps i received from her for joining in her guessing game, it was fun Vee. I coloured the girl in with promarkers, ,the pink background was a freeby ,i dont now were from it is really velvety to touch cut out the window with the new die i bought with birthday money and put azitate inside it and cut the butterfly's with Marianne Stewart punch,& the  2 flowers with another punch.

Botticelli Bag

This is a Botticelli bag that i just made.I got the pattern off eBay and thought i would try it out. It comes in to sizes this is the smaller size. have lined it in a blue lining and made  a ball of lace gathered up and sew it to top of bag and found an old silver  button in my button tin and put in middle.
do you think i should do a smaller lace as hubby says its to Big
I must start making more cards, haven't had much of a chance to do any,

Dolls bed set & pyjamas

Bed set for Granddaughters dolls pram ,i put lace all around the edge and have chain stitched the flowers with a darker pink and blue embroidery thread

another dolls dress for granddaughters birthday same pattern as before but in a plain pink material put ric-rac around edges pink ribbon on dress and hat made some ribbon flowers on dress and hat
last time the hat was to small!!! this time hat is to big... got think how to sort this as i made the hat bigger than the pattern this time
Hat sorted now ,i measured a piece of elastic round her head and put it in the lining of hat...

I was 66 yesterday am married to Bernie with 2 children 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and another on the way.

I love making cards and sewing knitting and making cakes,I  hate doing meals though,

we grow some carnivorous plants and take them to flower shows and county shows and put up displays,our first one is in the Isle of Wight  ,we go all over the place

i have a little dog called Millie and i love her dearly she was the best birthday present i ever had,and she came to me on the right day!!!

I also have a load of chickens

and hatched some last year (  6 cockerels and 2 hens  they lay blue eggs )

we have a 2 acre field were we grow the plants and keep the chickens  26 including the cockerels
